Does being a part of a church community help you experience God? For those who consider themselves orphaned believers, what does experiencing God look like for you?
If you are struggling with experiencing God, what would help?
My experience of the Divine currently is quiet mornings listening to The Daily Office podcast (from the Anglican Book of Common Prayer) and staring up into my trees in the backyard. Nothing profound comes from these moments. God often feels quiet. I am returning to a new practice of praying to Mother God and seeking what spiritual mothering looks like. We still have no faith community and yet, I feel connected to a larger whole.
